About this experience

Three completely different aquatic environments in one adventure. Start by snorkeling through the calm waters of Yal Kú Cove, where freshwater meets the Caribbean Sea and tropical fish swim around you. Then leave the open water behind and enter an underground jungle cavern, surrounded by limestone formations and stalactites.

The adventure continues at an open cenote, where sunlight filters through the jungle and illuminates the clear freshwater below. Along the way, discover the natural and cultural importance of cenotes in Mayan culture and enjoy a regional buffet lunch between activities.

Itinerary and highlights

Start your adventure at Yal Kú Cove, where calm lagoon waters meet the Caribbean Sea. Spend around 90 minutes swimming and snorkeling in clear waters while discovering colorful tropical fish and marine life.

Continue to an underground cenote, where you can swim in cool freshwater surrounded by natural rock formations while learning about the importance of cenotes in Mayan culture. Then, take a short walk to an open cenote, where natural light enters through the opening above and highlights the surrounding rock formations.

After exploring the cenotes, enjoy a regional buffet lunch and take some time to relax before returning.
