Itinerary and highlights
Some hieroglyphic inscriptions found on stelae and panels at the site allow us to affirm that Cobá was the original name of the city. One of the possible meanings and the most plausible, given its proximity to the lagoons, is “choppy water.”
Come enjoy and get to know a small Mayan village where you can learn more about their culture and traditions and you will also cool off in a wonderful cenote while you surround yourself with nature.
