Itinerary and highlights
Valladolid is a 3 minutes drive from the Cenote Saamal.
Here you will enjoy a short visit to the main square of this colonial city full of history. For centuries it has been identified by the richness of the Spanish legacy embodied in its temples and the ancestry of its old neighborhoods. Here you can walk around the park, maybe to purchase a handcraft, enjoy a coffee or pickup some delicious Yucatecan food before heading back to Cancun.
It has an exceptional colonial flavor.
Chichen Itza is located in the state of Yucatan in the Yucatan Peninsula and it is exactly 197 km or 122 miles away from Cancun and it will take about 2:30 hrs to arrive. The drive is very comfy and you will have brunch, drinks, and a great guide onboard.
Once you arrive, you will be greeted and blessed by a local Mayan shaman and here you will enjoy a very traditional yucatecan buffet meal.
After your meal you will be guided on a historical stroll around the mythical archaeological site by a credited bilingual guide of the area and have alone time to admire and take pictures.
Refresh yourself with time to relax, swim and jump into this large fresh water cenote.
The cenote is a 30 minute drive from Chichen Itza's ruins.
